I notice only now that parts in my last message containing the "at" symbol have been filtred out. I therefore send this message again without it:

"At" Greg: I forgot completely yesterday to congratulate you. Your estimation of the timezone from the conjunction of Io and Europa is correct. He is at UT+1h (actually at about 7 deg east) which is shifted to UT+2h during summer.

"At" Frank: Regarding your proposition of an other series of photos he fears that the sensitivity of his camera is not sufficient. I however guess that the required information could also be retrieved from a photo with some longer exposure (using a tripod), thus with a sky full of small "bananas". He told me that he would not have the time to do this "experiment" due to lack of time and being too much behind with his duties. I guess his problem is the plumb line. He does not live in a metropolitan with skyscrapers. He also could not use a corner of his house wall since its tilted roof extends down to ground level. I presume that an other possibility could be a series of photos with Jupiter close to "our" moon. But with a 30x zoom it would likely have to be very close to it.

    Marcel
