Anyone who has ever gazed at the Full Moon* will be familiar with the crater Giordano Bruno, near the Moon's limb at 11 o'clock in this photograph. Its fresh bright system ray system can be easily traced as far as the eastern shores of Mare Crisium. Closer still to the limb it is possible to made out the crater Sumner named for Captain Thomas Sumner of Sumner line fame. The attached LRO image shows it in detail along with Catena Sumner,
