    Bill,

    If you google Simex and polarised shades you will see some comment on them. Whether it applies to the wee beastie I am none too sure.

    I will investigate the wee beastie tomorrow. I haven't as yet used this sextant, it was one those deals that was hard to refuse so it has sat a bit until I got around to actually using it. Apart from trying to identify the sextant that is as far as as I have got with it.

    Certainly a beautifully made little instrument.
