    Noell,

It does appear to be nearly identical to the Simex Junior which was a Tamaya.

It is well made, brass, is illuminated and quite weighty for its size.

The Bosun Mk1 is a mystery, I have tried all the Tamaya sextants I know of that were sold under another name but Bosun Mk1 does not come up anywhere.

The search goes on but I have little doubt its origins are Tamaya.

    Thanks for the help.

    Frank A.
