    Frank mentions his lunars paper which I found very useful when learning various clearing methods. It certainly inspired me to dig deeper.

    Attached are more calculator test cases, these use Frank's algorithm which is quite clean.

    Again, long line lengths, turn off line wrap and use mono-font to display.

    A personal comment here ...

    Frank's intro paper to lunars and attending his workshops opened up a huge area of history, observaitonal astronomy and ways of thinking about time for me. My enthusiasm for what I was learning is reflected in calculator programs and these test cases. I tried to compare my programming results with published examples. The source of each test case are noted when possible.
