Two more little "rules" for the game: 1) The sextant case includes whatever you might want to include in a normal sextant case including various optional filters, telescopes of various types, tools and oils --all the usual things but NO electronics. 2) The computer includes no functioning long-range communications hardware. It cannot receive or transmit any radio signals, including GPS signals. It does, however, keep time accurately (UT +/-1 second), like most any decent computer. And one non-rule: You do not have to use the sextant "as intended". If you wish, you may invoke a "deus ex machina" solution and trade it to a passing flying saucer in exchange for a free ride to the moon base. If you wish, you may use the sextant to pound on the electronics until they start working again. But don't count on any of us being impressed with such solutions! Just get yourself to the Moon with that sextant, one way or another. -FER --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ NavList message boards: www.fer3.com/arc Or post by email to: NavList@fer3.com To , email NavList-@fer3.com -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
