Robert E. White Instruments in Boston sells and services an array of navigational and weather instruments, their website is worth a visit at www.robertwhite.com. Their website states that the Excelsior Log by Thomas Walker is “no longer offered”, but they still offer spare parts and will service your log. They do offer a Knotmaster Log that they bill as “the standard taffrail log for smaller sailing vessels” which has a mechanical log with line, sinkers, rotator, etc. Visit their website and under Marine Instruments click on “Yestertech”.
