I liked this fact: "In 1999, Jordan decided to implement summer time all year round." I did not know that some countries ran DST all year. My real complaint about it is that we do not really get a chance to live through the yearly solar cycle. Most of us rise at the same time each day. Assuming this to be true, we can see the changes in the sun's altitude and azimuth each day - but it all gets messed up when DST hits. I wish I could just live one year that way but in the end I enjoy the late evenings like most people. And with regards to the software, yes people in Indiana can now join their neighboring states and just use the standard EST/EDT schedule - but now there is "cruft in the code" which needs to be removed. Not a big deal, but a hassle. Dan
