I looked at my 2001 almanac and the changes are already in that edition.

Subject: [NavList] Increments and Corrections
After years of having been taught, thinking, and teaching that the Increments and Corrections table at the back of the Nautical Almanac is the same year after year, I have discovered that this is not the case. I have found at least two of the almost 22000 values in the table that changed between 2000 and 2002. (This might have happened in 2001, but I do not have a 2001 Almanac.) Specifically:
m v or d Corr (2000) Corr (2002)
22 2.8 1.1 1.0
22 16.4 6.2 6.1
Does anybody know anything about this?
Also, if anyone has a 2001 Almanac and could check if the change occurred in 2001 or 2002, I would appreciate learning which.
Stan
