The latest upgrade to the improvised artifical horizon uses a nylon scrub pad cut to fit inside a plastic jar lid. The lid is then filled with water so that there is 1 mm of water above the scrub pad. Float the lid in a container to self level on imperfect surfaces. The A frame windshield has been improved by raising 3/4" using wine bottle corks at each corner. This eliminates fogging.
