George- I used the term "stolen" very openly. In this day and age, many people think everything on the internet is free and they very much KNOW about copyrights but they intentionally ignore them. I do not mean to cast aspersion on IRBS, but the question remains whether the nav list owners (who may have "compilation copyright" to the thread) granted permission to IRBS. If not, the thread was stolen. There's nothing new or unusual about this, many internet lists connect in some way to a commercial host or sponsor and they are entitled--as are we all--tothe protection of intellectual property. Or, as the English and Icelandic common law provide, they may enjoy the privleges of making outlaws of themselves.I usually don't mind when someone quotes me, but I expect them to have the common courtesy to ASK ME FIRST. But on checking the web, I've found that messages from this list are apparently supposed to be kept archived at the IRBS.COM site, so apparently the whole point is moot. My apologies to anyone who has been insulted by this.
