We were discussing, not long ago, Derek Howse's biography of Nevil Maskelyne (1989), and the absurd prices that were being asked for it. On Addall Books I still can't see it for less than $211. But this morning in the post arrived the secondhand book catalogue of Rogers Turner Books, of London and Paris. And they have that book for £40, which is the best I've seen it at for a long time. If anyone is seriously interested, he should jump now; it's unlikely to turn up cheaper. At rogersturner@compuserve.com. It's item 138 in their Spring 2010 catalogue 152.
