    You feel no need to test the seams on your new foul-weather gear before
    taking it on the water?  
    
    Personally I like to find a building with a clogged downspout, stand under a
    gutter that is pouring water down by the bucket full, and stand under it.
    
    Then I can go back inside secure (or not) that my foulies will do their job
    on the water.
