What other explanation for the curved shadow on the Moon can you think of?

None I suppose Geoffrey unless it was a ‘round toit’ or a flying saucer.  It’s just I was hoping to see a photo of a big black circle in the middle of the Moon, a bit like an eclipse of the Sun, and was disappointed when I couldn’t find one.  I know, distances, distances, mass and speed, and that chap Kepler.  Pity though.
