I am pleased the way that the Horizonta Sextant grid is well known, to be easy to plot and use. One part of the story is how to safely use the system, grid on the chart or 3 arm. The 3 arm is always a three way intersection, there fore hard to evauate for accuracy. The Navids must be selected by the navigator to get the best and only fix possible in each situation. with the lines drawn (LOPS) from the grid the intersection is clear to see, with the 3 arm there may be much movement in possible position that agree. What are your answers to selection of Navaids?
