Horizontal Angle Piloting on Small Craft

On the return trip from Santa Cruz Island last week a horizontal angle between Anacapa Island Light and Anacapa Island's West End was observed by sextant at 12:43 PDT while abeam of Platform Gail. The result plotted very close to the DR. See links of plot and an image of Anacapa Island as seen aboard the 42 ft. sloop Grey Eagle.
