    And Scholars typically use and value  libraries. An efficient way to distribute books with a specialised readership.

    But the electronic age makes some things harder for independent scholars. In the UK we have the British library .. you can go there and request anything ... but have to sit there to read it typically

    This is not a "popular" book. It is a book for "scholars" with an expectation of a limited market. That being the case, the price is actually quite reasonable...
