Is there no digitized, online version of one of the 1800's American Practical Navigator editions?  I thought there was, but could not find such a reference at mysticseaport.org or Frank's website, or on google.

There is a nice site about Bowditch (the man) at
It is a Historic Salem initiative

Regarding Bowditch (the book) it would be
interesting to have the parts about lunars
( which are no longer present in the current
Bowditch edition ) published on the Internet.

Anyone interested in helping me assemble a history of Bowditch? I'm thinking of something that would describe the various editions, maybe a paragraph on each, similar to the listing in Campbell but verified and updated and covering the "H.O." and later editions, too.
