    100 % agree with your view point Jeremy. It even saved me writing the same.

    Certainly not only the US NAVY but other Navies (including the French Navy which has lately held a seminar on this at the French Naval Academy) do not seem quite ready yet to shift to 100 % Electronic, 0 % Paper - including Charts and Almanachs and the like - 0 Sextant on board and 0 Celnav Training.

    Five years ago we could expect them to do so in a near future, but ... they have reconsidered their position and have become much more cautious nowadays.
