Not a lot of nail polish of any color around my bachelor pad.   I do keep
clear to seal various fabrics that seem to have a desire to fray.

Google Lee or Rosco filters (used by photographers) and request the sample
swatch book(s).  That will get a bunch of little filters that you can choose
from and cut to fit your light lens--providing just the right amount of red
light for your light unit output/eyesight/conditions.
