There is another new method called the Ageton Classic method which uses Pub 211 table values alongside natural cosine sine values. Reduction is done using the law of cosine method from a DR position. The table is around 8 pages and provides quick mistake free sight reductions. See old posts on this method. http://fer3.com/arc/sort2.aspx?subj=ageton+classic&author=&y=201401&y2=202412
PS the 4 place multiplication isn't that hard after a little practice.
