Hello Alexander, the haversine method was meant to make calculation with tables easier so unless you want to work your sights the old way (with Norie's or similar) the sin h formula is definitely more suitable for a scientific calculator.... If you want to know how the haversine formula was derived instead I'll be pleased to give you some more infos.
