Re: Handy light for viewing watch while taking sights

I use Celestaire Freedom Red LED flashlight for reading watch and
sextant scales. It is very small,
has a clip to attach it to anything (like a hat),
and the most important feature: the brightness can be
    easily regulated.

    Alex.

bit bright and has no red filtering. A simple solution was several layers of
clear tape, each layer colored by a red marker. Trim the edges with a razor.
The light fits handily in my Astra case without removing it.
