I just checked the on line access to H.O. 249 at: http://www.nga.mil/portal/site/maritime/?epi_menuItemID=8755b5dbee96c4327b2a7fbd3227a759&epi_menuID=35ad5b8aabcefa1a0fc133443927a759&epi_baseMenuID=e106a3b5e50edce1fec24fd73927a759 and found that the duplicated pages, 133, 139 and 152, 158 are still there. It appears that the missing minus sign problem has been corrected though. You can go to my prior posting on November 17, 2008 at: http://groups.google.com/group/NavList/browse_thread/thread/c9fa0798c9594bf8?hl=en and down load copies of these pages that I posted from my error free 1970 edition. gl On Feb 18, 12:50pm, RBEmersonwrote: > Following up on Gary La Pook's article in the March/April 2009 Ocean > Navigator magazine, Errors in H.O. 249 sight reduction tables, and > recognizing the lead time between acceptance and publishing, what is > the current state of this problem? If nothing else, it would be > helpful to list editions, paper and electronic, that are known to be > "contaminated". > > Rick Emerson > S/V One With The Wind, Baba 35 --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Navigation List archive: www.fer3.com/arc To post, email NavList@fer3.com To , email NavList-@fer3.com -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
