You'll get some false positives, but it seems manageable. I had never heard of H.O. 235 before. But now I know (see below)...

    Thanks. I have remembered that Bowditch 1958 has a list of Hydrographic Office publications but it is not complete.

    There were presumanly other departments of the US government that issued relevant documents. For example I have a copy of Special Publication No. 197 "Practical Air Navigation"  (1938) published by the US Dept of Commerce Coast and Geodetic Survey. Although it has information on CN I find the radio range (A - N) charts more interesting.
