    Gary,

    The 6th Ed. 1942 year is the first appearance of LHA at the top of table 1. The 2nd Edition 1928 has no Bubble sextant - Corrections to Observed Altitude of Sun, Stars, and Moon/Parallax ( shown on the inside front cover first page in the 5th Ed. 1937). Haven't seen a 3rd or 4th edition so I don't know when the bubble refraction/Moon parallax table first appears. Table C on pages 2&3 - Corrections for the Observed Altitude of the Moon for upper and lower limbs shows the same in the 2nd Ed. 1928 and 5th Ed. 1937. The 5th Ed. 1940 and 6th Ed. 1942 table C on pages 2&3 is modified.
