For those interested navigators, Gulf Stream information can now be obtained from the Naval Oceanographic Office at: http://www.navo.navy.mil/navo/pdgp2/ofa/gssb.gif The info used to be available from NOAA/NWS/Interactive Marine Observations but Congress cut their funds and the last map print-out was 1 Oct, 1996. NOO provides a page size map of SE, USA and Gulf (L 20 - 35 N, Lo 65 - 95 W); defines the GS, provides H2O temp, and direction of flow. Maps generally are updated daily.
