Virtue of this online globe is that it will draw great circle between two points ALL THE WAY AROUND, so you're not bothered by the pesky presumptiveness of a default 'shortest route'. And yes, I confirmed Frank's long haul from New England to SW Australia. However, my great circle was cut short by pirates off the tip of Brazil.
