    On page 396 of AFPAM11-216 under “ Otherwise”   Ln is used in the equations. What is the definition of Ln?

    I had forgotten just how convenient those tables are for computing rhumb line courses and distances. The "conversion angle" tables here are the only ones I know of that publish the conversion angles for courses (or radio bearings) that cross the equator.
