We started a hndheld Garmin 48 and a mounted Lowrance Seanav 150 receiving diff corrections from a Magellan DBR. We opened a bottle of Gruet (New Mexico) and waited. Absolutely nothing changed at 0000 UTC. The one with differential stayed fixed. The Garmin continued its slow SA wandering, with no jumps. We toasted the rollover and honked our horn anyway. I was sorry my old Motorola Traxar had quit. It would have been interesting to see what that would do (10 years old). I did not try turning them off and on again afterward. I will do that in the morning. One disturbing thing I did note: The Lowrance lagged the Garmin by a little more than one second in its time display. Since they both must know the time to less than a microsecond to perform their location function, this suggests the firmware in the Lowrance is slow about updating the display.
