    Frank,

    That is very strange.

I did use "Internet Explorer" as a precaution, although most generally same results with "Opera".

I can easily download the copies of the majority of the listed books, at least all the NA's I wish, as well as the "Bowditches", or the 2 Books by Chauvenet (all this has already been done for most of them).

But for some other books, such as this famous :

" Longitude by lunar distances: illustrated with examples worked out step by step, and with references to works on practical astronomy and to the "Nautical Almanac.". Auteur Henry Wilberforce Clarke "

... no joy at all, not even the slightest possibility to even read just one page. Is it because it shows from here as having only just recently been digitized (6 sept. 2007) ?

This is why I am thanking Robin again for the pages he just today made available to us through NavList.

I am in France to-nite, and next time I fly abroad I will try again. However the Internet is sometimes quite lazy in some of our hotels over there.

And by the way, your " Historical Navigation Books Online " page is just superb ! Bravo !!!

    Best Regards

    Antoine

PS : nite-nite for Kermit now
