    I was thinking about it while I was walking around this afternoon... it's
    been literally ten years since I had a dial-up line as my main Internet
    access. But I do indeed remember the first time I needed to download an 80
    megabyte file on a dial-up line --back in 1996. It was a real nuisance.
    High-speed Internet changes EVERYTHING. Both because of speed, and because
    it's "always on". If you have money to spare, put it towards that before
    anything else. You'll see... It changes everything.
