    GPS-based search site

A couple of years ago I sent a mail to lv-ab (a sister mailing-list to
this one - which I also lurk on), asking some questions about how to work
out distance between two lat/long points on the Earth's surface. A whole
flurry of very helpful replies came back, telling me about the Great
Circle route and how to calculate it etc.
Anyway, this sparked an interest, and we're now going live on a new
location-based search engine, called A2B, which should be of interest to
    navigation-aware people:
Free GPS software which allows you to upload your current position from
your GPS device (if you've also got an Internet connection), and a site
which allows you to search for the sites nearest to your position,
returning their distance and (rounded to compass point) bearing. You can
also add your own sites (or someone else's).
Anyway, it's just going into early beta-testing and we'd really appreciate
some feedback (preferably in our forum at http://forum.a2b.cc although
here or elsewhere would be fine too)
    Sam Critchley
