I thought I’d better find out a bit more about GNSS loss mitigation and was directed to this very latest report (June 2017) by the London School of Economics commissioned by Innovate UK, the UK Space Agency, and the RIN for the UK Government.

Select the ‘Full Report’ (133 pages!). Go to section 6, or just go to Control F, select eLoran and keep pressing ‘Next’. See also Annex 4. You’ll see it attempts to give a very fair assessment of the pros and cons of eLoran and other alternatives as GNSS loss mitigators. Dave P
