Hello,
I came across a very nice page by Bartosz Ciechanowski explaining some principles and some details of GPS. It does not seem to have been posted here so I thought I'd share:
It builds up some geometry with an animated/interactive example at each step. Then it talks about GPS radio signals a bit, showing some clever tricks used to make sure we can tell them apart.
