Interesting, I am going to keep reading that one. The other nation I particularly wondered about is China , due to a great deal of global posturing as a growing superpower. I would guess they might be very protective in regards to the unrest with the South China Sea, North and South Korea, etc.
I hope you don't mind if I clutch my defunct Loran C Reciever like a teddy bear and go to sleep tonite. Sorry, I am a cranky old bastard still miffed they turned off our favorite US East Coast fishing toy. In my primitive thinking at the time, I selfishly maintained we should have a GPS backup after I witnessed how easily it could be jammed in Noank Harbor by defective transmission equipment on a vessel in the the early 2000's.
Can't help liking backup plans. I still carry real charts, tide tables and plotting tools in piloting waters, and a sextant in case my fantasy to find Gilligan's Island ever comes true.
