Tony, great question. I've read Frank's reply to a similar question on another venue. He's practically given up arguing with the Apple gatekeepers and and is planning another approach with them that may result in their "acceptance/approval" in three or four weeks. We'll need to be patient and stay tuned. Hopefully it will happen.
I have a question of Frank also. I'm an iPhone/pad user. I am also fairly computer illiterate; that is why I think it might be possible for me to purchase an older/used android phone and use it simply as a device to house access to various apps that are of interest to me. If I could use an android phone for such a purpose and for that reason only and not incure an additional cost on my wireless phone bill, I would be delighted. I suspect that using a phone like that could only be done if my only connection were via wifi. I hope someone reading this comment of mine (and yours) will provide clarification regarding my intent.
