Dear navigators, I have recently completely spoiled myself (one has to now and again) and gave myself a Freiberger as a pressy. In the left top corner of the box is a solid cylindrical shape that has a corresponding square block glued to the lid. I can only think of a sort of support for the lid protecting the moveable mirror but the same effect can be achieved by more efficient means. Anyone any ideas? Then there is also a wooden block glued in the box next to the sextant that has a stud with a screw that appears to be the same as the screw that holds the telecope. Is this just a reserve screw or has something been fixed by the screw? Thanks, Axel
