I have glanced through the entire course and, although it is generally good,  I agree with you. It is unfortunate that he introduces non-standard terminology with his use of "AP" for "actual position" and he then introduces "CP" for "chosen position" (what everybody calls "AP," "assumed position") in section 5.4, page 12 & 13 so this is bound to cause confusion for anybody who also looks at the standard works or who might be discussing his work with anyone who was trained using the standard terminology.  Even worse, however, is in section 9.4, page 33 he states that when using H.O. 249, volume 1 that you compute the GHA of the STAR and then assume a "chosen position" based on the LHA of the STAR when you must actually use the GHA and the LHA of Aries when using volume 1 so this is a plain error.

(As an aside, why do the Brits use the term "maths" for mathicatics while Americans use simply "math." The guy who put up this course used "maths.")

I don't think I could recommend this website to anyone wishing to learn CelNav. In Section 1.5, pp 13-19, there are four misconceptions about how and why St. Hilaire works. In addition, using the term "AP" in a completely unconventional manner is sure to confuse beginners.

I've only looked at the introduction -- maybe the rest is fine. After all, there are apparently plenty of successful and happy navigators that really don't understand the intercept method.
