Randy,
I have never seen a sight reduction form for HO249 Vol. 1, only for Vols. 2 and 3. All you need to do for Vol. 1 is to obtain the LHA of Aries from the Nautical Almanac, then go to the appropriate latitude page of Vol. 1, slide down to the LHA of Aries, then slide over to the star in question and read Hc and Zn directly.
