    That is an extraordinary bias. What was the datum setting in your GPS
    receiver when you measured your observing position? I assume you have
    verified the coordinates a few times.
    
    Are you interpreting the GPS readout properly? Not to insult your
    intelligence, but lat/lon is vulnerable to blunders due to the three
    flavors in use (D.d, DM.m, and DMS.s).
    
    However, I think the most likely explanation is a systematic error in
    your observation or reduction technique, combined with an unbalanced set
    of azimuths (perhaps due to visibility constraints at your site). For
    instance, from my porch I can observe only west of the meridian. If I
    always measure altitudes too high, my fixes will always fall west of the
