Some time ago "a large number of beliveable simulated secenarios" showed that for the majority of cases, the normal approach is better! Go back and look.

Come on... We've been through ALL of this before. Your arguments are un-convincing. You have no evidence, either in simulation or in real-world navigation, that your approach has any merit at all. Sorry. If you want to "peddle" this theory of yours again, I suggest you find some better way to defend it than hand-waving arguments --and, YES, that is exactly what they are right now. Prove your approach works, for example, with...
a large number of believable simulated scenarios that show persuasively that your approach for generating a running fix is ....
better than the normal approach. Until then, it's just hot air.
