I read somewhere, maybe in a book about underwater treasure hunting that there is "evidence" that the ancient Egyptians and maybe the Romans visited either North or South America way before Columbus. (This is NOT to take away from Columbus' achievements). I know most of this "ancient" maps that look more or less like modern charts stuff, might fall under Art Bell and "Coast to Coast", but who knows. -- Gordon -- ,,, (. .) +-------------------------ooO-(_)-Ooo------------------------+ | Gordon Talge WB6YKK e-mail: gtalge AT pe DOT net | | Department of Mathematics http://www.nlmusd.k12.ca.us | | Norwalk High School Norwalk, CA | | (o- Debian / GNU / Linux | | //\ The Choice of the GNU Generation | | v_/_ .oooO | | - E Aho Laula - ( ) Oooo. - Wider is Better - | +-------------------------\ (---( )-------------------------+ \_) ) / (_/
