Meant to send this to the List, but apparently sent it directly to Ken: My six inch, model #98, Starrett level came with a card containing the following information: The main vial was ground. (there's also a small cross-level vial). Graduations on the main vial are at 1/10 inch intervals. A bubble movement of 1/10 inch indicates an elevation of .005 inches per foot. My experience is that it's easy to level to the half-division, or .0025 per foot. Bruce
