    Expedition Amelia

Last night I watched "Expedition Amelia" on the National Geographic
channel. There is some celestial navigation about 15 minutes into the
program. Someone takes a daytime sextant shot from the search ship with
what looks like an Astra. A publication (HO 249?) is consulted and a
line drawn on a chart. The sextant lies on the chart with its legs
sticking up in the air like a dead bug.
