    Thank you so much for taking the time to solve this example of very
    high altitude sun sights. I've only had two occasions to do them at
    sea, and the boat I was on had neither sat-nav nor loran. So, there
    was no check other than the DR.
    
    I've long been curious to discover just how close one could come with
    the super-basic method of advancing arcs or circles position at the
    standard Universal Plotting Sheet scale, which is why I was glad to be
    presented with Jeremy's example from a CG exam.
