I am writing up my (finally successful) Polaris sight for my course -- the final course element short of the sitdown exam next week. I have to show the position of Polaris on the time diagram. For that I need the SHA of Polaris. The 2004 Nautical Almanc gives the SHA of Polaris (Ursae Minoris) as 320 degrees and 68.6-84.6 minutes. Surely this is a rare printing error, since the minutes portion cannot exceed 60'? US Navy website: GHA 158d 39.6' Henning's website: GHA 158d 39.6', SHA 321d 25.0' I cannot find an "erratum" page for the Almanac using google. Thanks.
