A minimal kit which permits you make a reasonably accurate fix at sea, and which you can permanently wear consists of a Bris "sextant", a Very Good wrist watch, and a T-shirt with an analemma, and your Bris graduation written on it:-) Analemma is a compact way to encode all necessary Sun data. (It is a graph of declination against the equation of time. The dates and Sun SD can be written on the graph itself). Refraction can be included into Bris graduation. Dip you can figure without any additional data. How to compute sines of several angles with nothing, I explained before. :-) Alex.
