"The Rittenhouse article (C 2000) suggests that only one copy of Willis' Navigating machine is exant - that at the Maritime Museum. A quick google search on "Navigating Machine" gives examples at the Smithsonian, National Air and Space Museum, Science Museum UK, as well as the Maritime Museum. The Maritime museum web site states  that Willis' machine was supplied in boxes that have not been opened. The Maritime Museum has reopened (after Covid?) so if anyone lives nearby here is an  opportunity to open some boxes after 84(?) years!!!"

If you mean the Mariners' Museum, I live practically next door. I will contact them ASAP.

    Regards,
