My Wife and I traveled to Anderson SC from NJ to their civic center (free parking and admissions with band and refreshments too). Some dark clouds with blockages and no clear view of totality, but the "tree frogs" sang loudly in the darkness. Myself and three other amateur radio operators were together in the immediate area and were all too awe struck to operate. R, John
